Heading east

Thrumpton Lane

A short walk along a path parallel to the low level line leads to Thrumpton Lane crossing where a footbridge gives good views either way. A wide angle shot allows the attractive signal box to be included.

Heading out towards Markham Moor, about half a mile from town, turning left just before the road goes over the railway bridge and meandering through the estate leads to a footbridge which gives good views both ways.

Clarborough

A couple of miles out on the Gainsborough brings you to Clarborough. Turning right on the outskirts onto Church Lane and following the road for about a mile leads to a farm crossing close to Clarborough tunnel.
